Membership Terms and Conditions

  • Responsibility for Charges: I am fully responsible for all charges made to my account, including membership fees, competition fees, and all other necessary charges.
  • Billing Policies: I agree with all billing policies as laid out by Aqua Race Sports Academy.
  • Behavior Guidelines: I agree to adhere to the behavior guidelines of Aqua Race Sports Academy.

Termination of Membership

  • Aqua Race Sports Academy reserves the right to terminate my membership if there are unpaid arrears for 7 or more days.
  • I agree to notify the Membership Officer of my decision to cancel membership as soon as possible.
  • I will be responsible for all ongoing fees until I receive notice of cancellation.

Liability

  • Aqua Race Sports Academy and its employees are not liable for any claims, demands, injuries, damage, theft, or loss at any of its sites, during travel to/from training or competitions, and any extra activities provided by the Academy, myself, or my child.
  • I voluntarily assume all risks associated with myself, my child, and any other person attending on my behalf. The company and its employees will not be held liable.
  • Participants are required to attend their scheduled class times to maintain appropriate coach-to-athlete ratios.

Personal Information Protection

Information provided will be used for purposes deemed reasonable by the company and its partners, including registration, insurance coverage, training participation, and competition result publication. It will also be used for registration with respective sports associations.

  • Ensuring athletes train and compete in an age-appropriate environment.
  • Establishing athlete eligibility for squad team selection.
  • Recording medical records and performance data to assist coaching decisions.
  • Publishing athletes’ names, gender, age, and club affiliation in results, news releases, and rankings.
  • Making direct contact with registrants, volunteers, and staff as necessary.

Photographic and Email Release

  • Photographs and/or videos may be taken during Aqua Race Sports Academy activities.
  • Aqua Race Sports Academy and the City of Dubai may use these for promotional purposes.
  • I consent to the use of the provided email address for all communications.

Class Cancellation and Combining

  • Aqua Race reserves the right to combine and/or cancel classes in the event of insufficient enrollment.

Personal Conflicts

  • No refunds or makeup classes will be offered for personal scheduling conflicts.

Medical Exemptions

  • Medical exemptions require a medical certificate and must be communicated to admin and site lead before sessions or within 24 hours to be eligible for makeup classes.

Catch-up Classes

  • Catch-ups must be completed within the booked package period (1-month, 3-month, or 6-month packages).
  • No makeup lessons will be honored once the package has expired.
  • No lessons carried forward into the new season.
  • No catch-ups for bookings of 5+ sessions, public holidays, adverse weather (unless cancelled by Aqua), or missed sessions without timely medical proof.
  • If the primary coach is replaced and the client chooses not to attend, no makeup classes will be offered.

Cancellation of Sessions & Refund Policy

  • Cancellation within 5 days of payment will be refunded after deducting registration and admin charges.
  • No refunds for cancellations made after 5 days from payment date.
  • Refunds or Aqua Credit (valid 6 months) may be offered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Policies apply to all fee-based programs except competitions.
  • Admin is the first point of contact for all refund or makeup lesson enquiries.
